Great to see our Volunteer Stephen Rawlinson receive some lovely Thank you cards from a local school after he gave them an impromptu talk about Rutland Water Nature Reserve on a recent visit to the Birdwatching centre.

One of the most exciting ways to see Ospreys at Rutland Water is to take a guided trip aboard the Rutland Belle, set sail on our evening cruise and enjoy a different perspective on the reservoir.

Our cows at Rutland Water are well looked after and can be seen here definately enjoying the lovely views ;)

It's that time of year again; the birds are singing and Hambleton Wood is full of bluebells! In a couple of weeks the display will be at its peak.

Cuteness Alert!

This tiny badger cub was caught on camera at an artificial badger sett that we constructed recently, being moved around by its parent at Rutland Water Nature Reserve

Some of our amazing volunteers replacing a rotten fence line at the back of lagoon 8 to keep it stockproof. We thought it was only going to be a short section but the rotten posts just kept on coming! At least the view wasn't too bad...
