Statement on Cabinet Resolutions of 25/04/2024

Yesterday, RDB CEO Francis K. Gatare, alongside Invest In Gabon CEO Ghislain Mboma and his delegation, briefed the media about the delegation’s visit to Rwanda.

During their three-day visit, the delegation engaged with public and private sector institutions and explored

RMB hosted a Gabonese delegation, including representatives from the Equatorial Mining Company and the Gabon Investment Promotion Agency (ANPI), today. We shared an overview of Rwanda’s Mining sector, along with the strategic policies to foster the sector’s development.

RMB CEO, Francis Kamanzi , officially opened the 28th ICGLR Regional Committee Meeting in Kigali today. He appreciated the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region Secretariat and the Regional Committee's significant work in the fight against the Illegal Exploitation of Natural Resources.

#Rwanda is seeking to amend its mineral tax law with a view to promote value addition for higher revenues and discourage the exportation of the valuable natural substances in raw form.
