Stronger together! Grad workers across departments turned out in some serious numbers for the May Day walkout. We are extremely grateful to the faculty, undergraduates, and other members of the BU community for their solidarity as we continue our fight for a fair contract! 🫶

Yesterday, Local 509 reached a tentative agreement with the Commonwealth on our next state contract! Thank you to all of our state workers who showed up strong at bargaining, made calls, and signed petitions -- your advocacy & hard work are appreciated! ✊
