The softball team defeated South Brunswick 10-6. Gwen Negron led the offense going 3 for 4 with 3 RBIs and 2 runs. Melody Webb was 3 for 4 with 2 RBIs; Kamerin Collado 2 for 4 with 1 RBI and 2 runs; Alyssa Collins 3 for 3 with 3 runs. Liz Negron earned the win, striking out 9.

The softball team defeated Old Bridge 1-0 in its season opener. Hayley Wieczerzak was 1 for 4 with the game's only RBI, scoring Liz Negron. Natalie Kandel was 1 for 2 with a double and Olivia Guarino had her 1st varsity hit. Wieczerzak pitched 7 shutout innings, striking out 16.
