After some bruising encounters yesterday where some suggested that my photos are of no significance (it takes 1000 attaboys to equal 1 put down), I suppose I'd better get back to feed cleansing. For the people who appreciate this stuff, here's a splendid fairywren at Gluepot.

The aurora was settling down at around 8:20 on Saturday night ...

In honor of Sandy Horne being reinstated I went birding at Braeside Park today.

40km round trip on my bike, and the ducks that were migrating were gone BUT I did find a cocky having a feed.

This shows the infrastructure at Gluepot. Each of the five bird hides overlooks one of these water points. It's fun to sit and watch who shows up.

There are masked lapwings on my neighbour's roof right now, struttin' their stuff.
