Last month saw the installation of 15 suction anchors for the Barossa Gas Project.

Weighing approx. 150t each, the suction anchor is a large hollow cylinder that forms part of the mooring system to anchor the Barossa FPSO site in place.

Development of the Barossa gas project is now more than 70 per cent complete and will provide a new source of gas to the existing Darwin LNG facility for 15 to 20 years.
