FTC's non-competes ban is a huge victory for workers. The rule makes it illegal for your employer to stick these terms in the fine print of your contract that stop you from switching jobs. DOT strongly supports these protections.

Today's announcement is historic, but we are not stopping here. Our department continues work on additional passenger protections and we continue to investigate airlines for a number of potential violations of consumer law.

🎉 Big change from U.S. Department of Transportation:

If your flight gets delayed or canceled, airlines now have to refund you automatically in CASH.

Refunds cover:
- Delayed flights (3+hrs domestic, 6+ hrs int’l)
- Airport changes
- Added connections
- Service class downgrade
- Accessibility changes

Too often, airlines drag their feet on refunds or rip folks off with junk fees.

It's time Americans got a better deal.
