It is awesome watching PhD student Alicia Battaglia present my 4th year course in guest lecture and doing a much better job than I can do!
We're excited to bring you a brand new Virtual Special Issue celebrating the outstanding career of Elsa Reichmanis. Elsa Reichmanis. Read it here 🔗go.acs.org/7qT
The Award for Research Excellence in Materials Chemistry is presented to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to materials chemistry working in Canada. Congrats Dr. Dwight Seferos Seferos Group @uoft on being the recipient of this award buff.ly/418kXNt
Just out in Chemistry of Materials! We found that sulfonamide-containing materials are promising candidates as binders and that dimensionality is a key parameter for their use in lithium-ion batteries. Check it out here: pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

Hi #chemtwitter , anyone have a reliable lithium foil supplier? Our order from Sigma has been back-ordered for several months now… ☹️
New paper out in ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces! We synthesized a series of viologen polymers and studied them as cathode materials in lithium-ion batteries. We found that the choice of polymer backbone significantly influences the performance and charge storage mechanism surl.li/liyfu
Congratulations to undergraduate student, Heewon, and graduate student, Eloi, for winning awards for their presentations at the Climate Positive Energy Research Day last week! Climate Positive Energy at University of Toronto
Fpi15 Conference continues! Harrison of Seferos Group gave a beautiful talk, followed by our very own Xiaowei!
