Some of our 1st year girls were very busy this morning taking part in a Gaelic Football Workshop as part of the Lidl Ireland #SeriousSupport Programme with Laurie Ryan. Not only did the girls develop their skills in Gaelic but they also learnt the value of working as a team!

Our L2LP and Asdan students took a trip to Shannon Aviation Museum. Thanks to all the amazing staff at the museum for such an interactive experience!

Some of our 1st year geographers took to the yard to practice their map skills. Accurate drawing and labelling were amongst the lessons learnt as they worked together in the sunshine today!

Our junior and senior rugby teams had a great time at a Munster blitz that took place at Shannon RFC. They played 7 matches in total and showed super sportsmanship, determination and grit! Will done lads, ye did the Comp proud 👏 🏉 💪💙💛

We are incredibly proud to have 5 teams of girls participating again this year in Technovation. They have been busy coding apps & learning new skills over the last 12 weeks. It is not possible without the support & resources provided by the TeenTurn team - we are so grateful!

Hard Luck to our Junior ladies football team who suffered a narrow loss in a very exciting final against Rice College. They had a brilliant comeback, levelling the score after going 12 points down at half time. It was not to be but they fought to the very last second. Well done!

Some of our 5th years took a trip to TUS last Thursday for an Engineering tour and talk. A very interesting and informative event for our students.

Another busy day in Rome. We explored Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish steps. We also visited the Vatican museums where we saw lots of galleries and the Sistine Chapel. The group then went to St. Peter's Square and met Colm Flynn from Ennis who is a reporter for the Vatican.

We were privileged to be the first ever school to attend the new #Xplore Hub at collegeofFET.ie in Raheen today. Our Girls in STEM Club took to the challenge and enjoyed a day of discovery and investigation in what can only described as an innovative and exciting facility!

Our TYs stepped back into ancient Roman times today with a guided tour of the catatombs, a visit to Circus Maximus and a tour of the Roman Forum. The day finished with a trip to the Trastevere district and gelato🍦
