Shreveport Police search for missing juvenile Police search for missing 13-year-old.

Charshun Martin (9/06/09) was last seen on December 5, 2022, in the 2000 block of Ridgewood Drive in Shreveport, La. He is 6’0” tall, weighing 150 lbs. 318-673-7300#3

One vehicle Accident in the 6100 block of Southern Avenue. A small SUV hit an electrical pole. Electrical lines are down across the roadway.  Power is out in the immediate area and SWEPCO is on scene. The 6100 block of Southern will be closed for the next several hours.

Ischmiel Carter (26) was last seen in the 300 block of west 71st Street, in Shreveport on April 20th, 2022. Carter drives a 2003 Cadillac Escalade.

Hilry Huckabee is now open

Major accident involving an 18 wheeler. Both directions of Hilry Huckaby will be close between North Lakeshore and I220, unknown when it will open back up. Please plan for traffic delays and attempt to find an alternate route.

The Shreveport Barksdale bridge is back open.

This morning members of SPD and SFD responded to a suspicious package on the bridge. The object was found not to be a threat and removed.
