Great lesson this morning at Salem Elementary with Mme Duguay’s grade 1 class! We used the Sphero Education draw app to draw different shapes for their robot! Then we described the features of each shape in french! ✍️

Our digital leaders were linking digital technologies and numeracy today. Using our Sphero Bolts we coded number generators and then linked with other groups to write calculations. Some groups used whole numbers and others explored numbers with decimal places. PKC Learning and Teaching Sphero

Putting Putt through the Parks was a hit! Students researched #NationalParks in 8 US regions, designed infographics, connected geology/geography to our science SOLs, recorded podcasts about local myths AND built putt putt courses. Instead of golf balls, we used Sphero! #STEAM
