Dave Gaster CuringPotholeBritain Mr Pothole The Bolton News Chris Jaffray Bolton Council dr ian greenwood The positive I see is that it has been stated and reported very well. Needs to be a jolt for Rishi Sunak and Andy Burnham

No good spouting promises that can’t be kept, or “inspecting” hardly trafficked potholes. you need to stoop to see, when many are visible from space!

CuringPotholeBritain Northampton Chron Cllr. Anthony Bagot-Webb Leicester City I would add that this is not the first time in the last six months on the same section of the road. In my opinion the speed of the carriageway is a major issue. 70/60mph is to high in such a busy built up area. Needs to be reduced to 40mph the most.

Keith Dixon I think this is a really sensible idea for ALL highway authorities which cannot reduce the backlog of repairs, making the roads safer and more carbon efficient.

There’s a start on Radstone Road by Utah, I don’t know if that’s to fix 5 potholes or the start to resurface?

Small steps forward.

Mr Pothole Yes you are Mark, there’s a clause in the New Roads and Streetworks Act that specifically enables anyone to make a road safe from property or personal damage.

It’s always quite funny to see those slippery road/ bumpy road signs when travelling abroad. They are usually apologising for something that is better than our best surfaces.
