Iβve been thinking about Royal College of Occupational Therapists conference and I think Iβd like to see someone come and talk about how OT has not always been helpful to them. I think we pat ourselves on the back a lot - but we definitely still have ableism to challenge!
Beth Curtis STUDENTS- OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY As well as an overview about teams, wards, processes etc it could be handy to have info about facilities that might help someone meet their meaningful activity needs. CafΓ©s, hairdressers, prayer rooms etc. The hair salon in the hospital was hugely important for some patients.

STUDENTS- OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY From the point at which you talk with family, social carers and the #CommunityMDT . Which SHOULD be at the point of admission.
