Their Highness #Limpa Lemonade the First has freshly been awarded the title of Ambassador of European Capital of Culture #Tartu2024 . A local Tartu dude, whose mission is to bring together different generations through humour, lemonade and burps. Live, laugh, Limpa! 🐽

Tartu Cathedral got a new look! Every sunset, it is decorated in lighting artwork 'Dawn and Dusk', which changes during the night and relates to the surrounding natural environment and the residents of the area in a fresh way. Walk on Toomemägi and experience its magical beauty!

Students don't let rain bother them. The pleasant aroma of pancakes and coffee brought many diners to the Tartu Student Days pancake morning. We offered savory pancakes with various fillings at Town Hall Square. What do you eat pancakes with? 🥞 #Tartu2024

Tartuvians listened to Silk Sonic and left their doors open. Architectural event Open House opened the doors of almost 30 locations in Tartu. A fantastic opportunity to visit places that are architecturally valuable and usually remote or even closed to the public. #Tartu2024

On Küüni Street, next to Tartu Central Park, portraits of well-known citizens of Tartu are exhibited until 2 June. The artworks are made of recycled materials. Up to 180 students from Tartu elementary schools took part in this project. Do you recognise these people? #Tartu2024

Exhibition celebrating 100 years of the surrealism manifesto “Surrealism 100. Prague, Tartu and Other Stories…” opened at Estonian National Museum. You can enjoy works by the most renowned surrealists from the 20th and 21st centuries. Open until 8 September. Národní galerie Praha

Documentary 'Shiro Takatani: Between Nature and Technology' showcases Dumb Type's past activities, creative process and visuals. On 4 and 5 June, Takatani's 'Tangent' will premiere for European audiences in collaboration with #Tartu2024 and Kanuti Gildi SAAL for the first time.
