A novel is comprised of words on paper. A film is comprised of visual images with sound. One format is not better than the other; their resources are different. Each can tell the same story, but in its own perfect way, drawing from resources unique to its format. Why compare?

We've always heard Casa Blanca (1942), Citizen Kane (1941) and other classics are the greatest films of all time. But Meryl Streep said movies are better today. That was over 20 years ago. I wonder if she'd say that today.

Maybe she should see yours produced. Mine, too.
