It's that time of the year again when I share some of the favourite pieces I've written over the course of the last 12 months — a bittersweet recap as it comes in the aftermath of @the405 closing down. So here are a couple of those highlights I found worth salvaging via Medium:

Thank you for giving me my first proper writing opportunity and for all the gigs and albums I owe to you...

I was part of this between 2011-2016 and it was a pretty great time. They made me want to write about music again, nearly a decade after I had given that up. The 405 were a ceaseless supporter of new music and I hope that energy can continue elsewhere.
