Not a cut down version of an opera by a composer long dead but a purpose built small scale opera by a composer who’s (technically) still alive.

Panto 21 in one of the smallest venues I visit GeorgianTheatreRoyal for a slightly different telling of the Rapunzel story. The theatre is so welcoming to young and old. Even managed to bring away a small souvenir of a real community show.
Break a leg to client MARCUS JONES (Marcus Jones) who opens today as Jimmy ‘the Prince’ Charming in Rapunzel at the Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond. The in-house production runs until 7 January 2024. GeorgianTheatreRoyal
Delighted that rehearsals have started for #rapunzel at GeorgianTheatreRoyal A beautiful theatre and a brilliant team #pantomime #pantoseason #NorthYorkshire #theatre
REVIEW - Whisky Galore by Richmond Amateur Dramatic Society
The 1949 movie is brought to life in Richmond’s Georgian Theatre Royal. The play-in-a-play by the 'Pallas Players' makes this an hilarious piece of storytelling by a super talented cast.
