With some help from new friends from the History Museum in Appleton, I installed some The SolarCan pucks on the 4th floor of the Castle. The first solargraph is facing east Lawrence University You can see Main Hall on the right, and it looks like the sun is coming out of the Chapel.
I taped a couple The SolarCan pucks to the sunroof of my car for a day or two, and love the output I get from driving around under the sun. Now that's a map!
Finally found a home for the sticker from my Analogue Wonderland order, in good company with Film's not Dead. and The SolarCan stickers!
I had a few The SolarCan Colour cans to install, so I did that today before the trees leaf out. I also wanted to get an angle upwards as we near the solstice so I made a crude stand that I could drill into trees. Time to wait a few months…
A lovely blog post on a Solarcan experience by Tomáš Fülöpp who was one of our very first backers!

The vernal equinox can be a great time to harvest The SolarCan in the northern hemisphere. You can capture the entire path of the sun, and there aren't any leaves. This Solarcan Nebula was installed in the winter solstice, & I took it down last night. #pinholephotography #equinox
A photograph with an exposure time of 11 months (!) using The SolarCan, a neat pinhole camera I once helped to fund at Kickstarter. Beautiful day arcs drawn by the Sun over the seasons. Now, can you spot the clouds in the image?! vacilando.org/articles/seaso…
Vzpomněl jsem si, že už někdy od loňského května mám nainstalovanou The SolarCan
Dneska jsem ji sundal a naskenoval. Je to pěkný! 😀👍
Just received a lovely email from AstroAventura from Colombia who captured an incredible 10 month exposure of the Sun there. Exquisite! 💫
