Glad I walked home along the wilder side of the stort this evening and spotted this poor bat stuck on a Burdock! It's a known issue that I've read about so must've been attuned to spotting it in the back of my mind. Now being tended to by a Herts Bat Group volunteer. Bat Conservation Trust
