The rainy season in #Yemen poses not only environmental challenges but also increases the risk of disease spread.

UNHCR's partners are raising awareness among displaced families on protective measures through group sessions, house-to-house visits, & informative posters.

Ahlam faced difficulties when she fled from her home in Hajjah, #Yemen , becoming the sole provider for her five children and her husband, who is disabled.

She enrolled in UNHCR's livelihood project and received a sewing machine +supplies to earn an income for her family.

For Yemeni girls, there are many barriers to education.

However, UNHCR Yemen was able to build new classrooms and increase academic opportunities for displaced children.

Now the number of students has doubled, with half of the students being girls like Reem. 😁📚💙

In collaboration with the Migration, Refugee and IDPs Studies Centre, we organized a two-day workshop for journalists in Sana'a.

The workshop focused on the 1951 Refugee Convention and provided guidance on reporting about #Refugees and displacement issues.
