In the last 50 years, immunization has decreased infant mortality by 40 per cent.
That means more children now reach their 5th birthday than ever before in human history.
We must protect this incredible achievement. A healthier world is #HumanlyPossible . uni.cf/4dbmkjT
The expanded immunization programme over the past 50 years has shown the world what is #HumanlyPossible when all of us scientists, health workers, teachers, parents and the international community come together for a common good.
My message for #WorldImmunizationWeek .
Vaccines have kept us all healthy and safe. They’ve made everything in our lives possible.
Show us what you’re made of. Show us your possible.
#HumanlyPossible
Immunization has saved six lives a minute. Every minute. For five decades.
Let’s not stop now. Speak up and tell leaders it’s time for immunization for all.
Let’s show the world what’s #HumanlyPossible .
Children are still at risk of contracting polio across Africa.
UNICEF is calling on leaders to do what is #HumanlyPossible to reach every child with vaccines.
