Major breakthrough from our own Prof Maria Kavallaris AM 🌈 Ernest Moles at Childrens Cancer Institute in targeted cancer drug delivery, which is likely to have a huge impact on RNA therapeutic development! The key here is using bispecific antibodies and PEGylated nanoparticles.

Delighted to host year 12 biology students from All Saints College in Bathurst today here at the UNSW RNA Institute. We walked the student through our facility and explained to them how mRNA, siRNA and other therapeutics are made and what they can be used for.

At the wonderful Garvan Institute of Medical Research with it's helical (DNA inspired!) staircase. The UNSW RNA Institute are here with other RNA-minded people from across Sydney including the Kirby Institute, UNSW UNSW Medicine & Health and Australian Institute for Microbiology & Infection to discuss opportunities for collaboration in the RNA translational space
