From 6th May 2024, Coalition Umwana ku Isonga (CUI). with Sida funds through Save the Children Rwanda & Burundi is helping its member organizations to conduct the organization capacity assessment. This is a learning experience where the organizations assess themselves and develop an organization capacity dvpt plan.

95% of children living in institutional care have been reintegrated in families; the process of reintegrating children with disabilities into families has started. So far, 64 have been placed in families.

Today, we hosted a 'Collective Journey' workshop, for a '6-Month Progress Review' for our partners.

It was an opportunity to discuss challenges & solutions on both ends, paving the way for future improvements in our united goal, striving for children’s rights & girls' equality.

Dr. Ryarasa Joseph Nkurunziza highlighted the insights from #Rwanda Civil Society Barometer 2023, shedding light on the status & perception of CSOs in Rwandan development.

He noted that the report underscores the need to address managerial issues to ensure effective CSOs accountability.
