Another great rehearsal tonight, lots of practising German with interesting guttural sounds!!

Well that was a great first rehearsal, fun, energetic & rewarding, looking forward to more of the same next week!
Did you know that St John Passion is the oldest of the surviving Passions by Bach & was first performed April 7, 1724, at Good Friday Vespers at St. Nicholas Church!

Rehearsals start back this week, on Thursday evening at 7pm, in LTB6/7. New members are most welcome, please arrive from 6.30pm. We are really looking forward to singing together again and starting our new programme of music!

Great to return to Chelmsford Chelmsford Cathedral with Royal Choral Society & London Mozart Players Sat. 7pm for Haydn’s Nelson Mass. Venue of final wonderful concert with UofE Choir & London Mozart Players before 1st lockdown. Very few tickets left. Royal Choral Society on top form in last night’s final rehearsal.

We're off to Chelmsford! Our first performance at the Chelmsford Cathedral is on Saturday 28 October, but our Music Director Richard Cooke has been on the podium there many times with UofE Choir.
