Great puppy day today. We couldn't do what we do without our volunteers. We love seeing the dogs develop... lots of tired pups tonight.

This week has seen us developing staff and officers in how we can best use the hydrotherapy treadmill to prevent injury, help with conditioning and enrichment for the dogs. Thank you to Leamington GuideDogs for also supporting with different enrichment ideas.

PC King gave an input to Sea Scouts in Coventry, showing how brilliant our police dogs are and educating them in safety around dogs. Coventry Police this is the 10th year we've attended.

The duo were the only North West-based competitors and will proudly represent GMP in the competition next month 👏

A fantastic few days competing in the regional trials. Three dog teams have all attained enough points to qualify to Nationals National Police Dog Trials UK. Well done to all who took part and those who facilitated the event.

PD Romeo tracked to 3 offenders from a stolen vehicle then found balaclavas & cameras used in the offence!

PD Phenex helped detain 5 offenders in 3 separate jobs!

PD Barney and PD Oreo visited Leicestershire Police today and have returned as our newly licensed Digital Detection Dogs 🥳🎉

They will be hitting the streets with A Unit next week, ready to put their new skills to work.

The public cheered for PD Gunner's final bite in the Crufts arena, Gunner had other ideas last night, one detained for theft of motor vehicle, dangerous driving and failing to stop... 2 more weeks before he retires, let's see what else he can do!!..
