Williams Syndrome (WS) affects around one in 18,000 people in the UK.
Research from Jo Van Herwegen of UCL IOE Psychology and Human Development, with Williams Syndrome UK sought to improve support for children with WS by influencing policy and practice.
Williams Syndrome UK teachingtimes.com/should-we-know… 1 in 18,000 boys and girls. Good social skills, verbal comms and short term memory; struggles with visual and spatial awareness. Dr Catherine Knowles offers advice to schools on how to support these learners.
May is Williams Syndrome Awareness month, an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of WS people across the country who do remarkable things, despite the barriers they face.
