Here's one of my swifts using saliva to stick the components of its nest together. The nest was constructed last year by sparrows and the swifts then turfed the sparrows out. Wakefield & District Swift Group

I am pleased to share that this box we placed in Castleford in 2021 is now being used. As you can see there is droppings near the entrance which suggests they have bred this year.
