We can’t have a Foreign Secretary dodging scrutiny on arms sales to Israel. He must:

- Publish the foreign office legal advice.

- Take questions from MPs in the Bar of the House of Commons.

- Unequivocally commit to international law.

The deaths of British Aid Workers in an Israeli air strike are terrible. Humanitarian workers must be protected and international law must be upheld.
There has to be an immediate ceasefire, all hostages have to be released, and humanitarian aid must be delivered to all of Gaza.

It is essential that the government now come clean and publish the legal advice they have received on arms sales to Israel. There are precedents for this to be done. Transparency and upholding international law is absolutely vital. There can be no ‘ifs or buts’.
