Mario Petrirena is a Cuban American artist who will be working with art classes, affinity groups, and Spanish courses throughout the month of October as a part of the Visiting Artist Program. You can view his gallery in Broyles Hall!

As part of Westminster's commitment to service-based learning, 5th grade students launched CATapult with President Keith Evans. CATapult is a yearlong leadership and civic engagement course in which students partner with nonprofit organizations. #thewestminsterdifference

Sixty-eight seniors were recently honored by the National Merit Scholarship Program. Twenty-one were named semifinalists for scholarships and forty-seven students received letters of commendation. Congratulations!

Campus was buzzing last Friday as the JanTerm Fair took over the quad. Upper School students went table to table to hear from faculty about the course offerings for #JanTerm23 —with 44 total courses to choose from narrowing it down won't be easy!

The annual Senior Spaghetti Supper is a Westminster tradition that kicks off the new school year—the seniors' last. Students and parents of the Class of 2023 gathered in the Zakas Courtyard outside the Middle School before sitting down together for dinner in the Oglesby Room. 🍝

From Nosh to WCAT, Active Minds to Model UN, Sports Analytics to the Evolutions magazine—and much more—there's a club for every Cat! Last week, Upper School students had a chance to learn about and sign up for dozens of clubs during a fair on the quad. 🐾

Katie Christopherson '24 is a national swimming champion! She won gold in the 18 and under women's 200-meter breaststroke at the Speedo Junior National Championships, with a personal best time of 2:28.76. Way to go, Katie! 🥇🏊‍♀️
