Our walk of the week is Walla Crag, a lovely 5 mile circular walk that takes just 3 hours from the front door.

Day 3 with YHA Lake District staff & we were working on one of our neighbouring farms removing tree tubes. We took off about 400 tubes from some healthy looking trees. They'll now go for recycling or re-use. YHA England & Wales YHA Ambleside YHA Keswick YHA Coniston Holly How YHA Eskdale

We're delighted that the Keswick to Threlkeld Trail has now fully reopened. Thank you for your patience. There is still some repair work that needs to be done, but we'll do this at quieter times to minimise disruption and we'll sweep the entire route on 6 Dec to clear leaves.
