Had a great time Species On The Move Conference in Florida, presenting some of my research on thermal ecology of urchins and kelps across their range in Australia and listening to a bunch of great talks!
We are proud to launch our online mapping tool at Seamap Australia today - thankyou to all of our collaborators ! IMAS University of Tasmania NESPMarineandCoastalHub abc.net.au/news/2023-05-2โฆ via ABC Australia
First of two experiments complete looking at within species variation in thermal tolerance of urchins. Sydney โ๏ธโ๏ธ tassie soon! Huge thanks to Clayton Mead, Derrick, Cristina Galobart, Dr Adriana Vergรฉs, Scott Bennett and the team Sydney Institute of Marine Science ๐๐๐
Fieldwork completed and time to go back homeโ๏ธ. We collected in-situ data on seaweed productivity in Syndeyโs Ecklonia and turf habitats๐. Special thanks to Clayton Mead , Derrick, Claire Butler and Dr Adriana Vergรฉs! See you soon!!๐
