indeed a smart move to mention Hamas and to already talk about what can and cannot be done against Hamas, as well as how this is irrelevant as genocide is never justifiable.

This is the crux - i think it would be hard to convincingly demonstrate intent at this part, but South Africa made a good case for the danger of genocide and its intent given the public statements of state representatives.

The #ICJ proceedings of South Africa v Israel are underway and SA is making a convincing case for provisional measures to prevent #genocide , even regarding what i would think is the crux of the issue: intent. I wonder how Israel will respond tomorrow.
