Speaking at the first board meeting of the fund for responding to loss and damage, Abudhabi UAE. Operationalizing the board was the first substantive item agreed at COP28 in Dubai where an agreement was reached by the parties to support the most vulnerable to climate change.

I held a bilateral meeting with the Deputy Minister for Energy Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Chief negotiator climate change HE Khalid Abulief . We agreed to Maintain cohesion with in G 77 and China and be constructive as well during the up coming COP 29.
