I'd be surprised if this is the end of it and the appeal will be interesting and significant

Rufus🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇬🇧 I guess that's my point - either there's a Royal Commission (or similar) to clearly redefine the role of the modern Police Constable or it slowly and painfully morphs and nudges into some other form through a serious of events like this one playing out in the media.
