Thank you, Excellency Joanna Hofman for a wonderful reception celebrating the 23rd anniversary of the Polish-Lithuanian Constitution of 3 May 1791. It was a tribute to attend this joint event, reflecting on the shared heritage with members of Sveriges riksdag and Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

Addressing our common heritage of the Constitution of 3 May 1791, a joint 🇵🇱🇱🇹 event was held at the Embassy yesterday.

We celebrated the legacy of our Constitution among the members of Sveriges riksdag and Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, diplomatic corps, 🇸🇪 partners, as well as 🇵🇱 and 🇱🇹 diaspora.

Warsaw Uprising veteran Zofia Czekalska has died aged 100.

Czekalska, who went by the nom de guerre 'Sosenka', served as a nurse in the uprising and was later held in a POW camp in Nazi Germany.

The 🇵🇱🇸🇪 regional and scientific cooperation were the main topics of Joanna Hofman's meetings with Göteborg city authorities and local universities.

The visit to Göteborg was also an occasion to honour Polonicus Gothoburgensis choir, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
