Wild to me to learn that, more than a decade after its release, a copy of MARCH: Book One is bought by a reader approximately every fifteen minutes.
At minimum.

Every week.
Every day.
Every hour.
24 hours a day.

Thank you. Keep marching.

Writers need to know this stuff too, so you can make sure your script (and the left-to-right arrangement of characters in the panel) is not asking for awkard placements/crossed tails.

Graphic nonfiction can lend itself really well to memoirs. The March trilogy by John Lewis, Andrew Aydin & Nate Powell is outstanding. But would also call out The Arab of the Future, When I Grow Up, Dragon Hoops, and many others. goodreads.com/review/show/70…

Congratulations to the NYC Public Schools Civics For All team!

Some of y'all have been wondering what I've been working on these past few years. Well, here it is. Or at least some of it. Proud to be a part of this.

Paul Auster's City of Glass was one of the books I showed John Lewis to explain what March could be. His influence on the medium of comics and those he inspired by his work will never fully be known.
