#AB2234 on E-Bike Safety Training passed the Assembly Transportation Committee.
Thank you to Scott Chadwick, City Manager of the City of Carlsbad, for being my witness at yesterday's committee hearing.

#AB2234 on E-Bike Safety Training passed the Assembly Committee on Transportation with 13 votes in support. AB 2234 would authorize a 4-year opt-in pilot project in San Diego County banning e-bikes for anyone under 12, consistent with Consumer Product Safety Commission data.

I am happy to announce that #AB2564 , also known as the Property Tax Postponement Fund, received unanimous bipartisan support from committee members in the Assembly Committee on Revenue & Taxation! Thank you to my colleagues for your support!

#AB2956 passed the Assembly Health Committee 13-0! #AB2956 would adopt 12-month continuous eligibility for individuals who are already enrolled in Medi-Cal to make sure no one experiences a gap in healthcare.

April 19 is the last day for San Diegans affected by the late January storm to apply for federal aid. Also, Disaster Recovery Centers will close that same day.

However, recovery resources will still be available to those impacted.

🚧 SANDAG & Caltrans San Diego Build NCC crews will close all northbound I-5 lanes from Carlsbad Village Drive to SR 78 from 11:30 p.m. on Monday, April 15 to 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16 to resume placement of an overhead sign structure in @CarlsbadCAGov.
