With graduation tomorrow, what better way to conclude the year than with a performance from your peers? Students in John Marsh's May Term class performed their play '9 Days - 90 Minutes' on May 23. The play consisted of 6 one-act plays students wrote, directed, and starred in.

Dr. Phillip Lobo's May Term class lets students explore their creative sides through collaborative game construction. The purpose is to work together to design an original game setting including its history, population, and scenarios.

Dr. Michael T. Ndemanu, associate professor of multicultural education and social foundations Ball State Teachers College, has been awarded the Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship.

Senior Bella Budreau painted a commissioned mural for the Student Equity Council! The mural contains 20+ different languages and 20+ different national flowers and was created to represent equity and diversity.

In April, Academy students, coached by Heather Rogers, competed in the American Council for Teachers of Russian Annual Regional Olympiada of Spoken Russian. Nineteen Academy students participated, earning 8 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal.

On Saturday, May 4, twelve Academy students competed at the state level for Academic Super Bowl in Science, Fine Arts, Mathematics, and Interdisciplinary.
