So many memories from an amazing time in Morocco.
Highlights have to be stargazing under pristine skies from the desert camp, and the journey by camel and quad bike.

Hi NOW Help Team
This is getting a little tiresome now.
Started yesterday evening and still flakey.
Thanks
Note to self - dew heaters need to be plugged in AND switched on to work🤣 4 images of the sky because of the 'liquid starlight' coating my lens. It's given Vega a nice halo.
The Orford Ness Pagodas on the horizon are about 1 km away, the Lagoon Nebula about 4.3 light years!
Disingenuous at best from Conservatives MP for Great Yarmouth. Here’s a screengrab of Brandon Lewis‘s now deleted tweet!
✨Beacon Trails✨
A couple of weeks ago I had a rare opportunity to spend the night photographing the stars above the secretive environs of Orford Ness

Wow! We've loved seeing some of the results from our first astrophotography event. Photographer Costas Kariolis took this stunning photo of a meteor shooting over the top of Lab 1. 📷: Costas Kariolis #OrfordNess #nightsky #orford #suffolkskies #suffolkastronomers #astronomy
✨☢️Lab One☢️✨
Last weekend, I was privileged to spend the night with a handful of others amid the post-apocalyptic landscape of Orford Ness, Suffolk, once the home of the UK's atomic weapons program. A unique blend of wild and industrial. ✨📷

Stargazing encourages us to slow down and appreciate the beauty of the night sky. In our fast-paced world, it provides a moment of tranquility and reflection.
If you'd like to stargaze from Orford Ness

Hope the Octopus Energy van is getting ‘Plunge Pricing’ from Octopus Electroverse ⚡️ this afternoon 😁
✨Time and Tides✨
Small boats left beached as the tide went out at Brancaster Staithe, Norfolk, with the Cygnus Milky Way overhead.

Thwarted by fast moving clouds that rolled in at 02:16hrs. The core of the Milky Way will be visible from about 02:30 next Saturday, rising near the Pagodas of Orford Ness. Join myself and Paul Haworth for a night of astrophotography. nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/suffolk/…
Tonight at 20:30 local time, join us in celebrating #EarthHour !🌎 For one hour, we encourage you to turn off all non-essential lights to raise awareness about protecting Earth, acting against climate change and supporting sustainability.
#ThereIsNoPlanetB Let's focus on Planet
Very much looking forward to these, the 1st an #Astrophotography workshop with Paul Haworth on April 13th.
