A genuine privilege to spend a little quality time with a hero in my hometown, and to compare notes/take valuable advice on stagecraft, wit, anger, vulnerability, society and guitarists with obsessions for old Ford Capris. Pure magic, a master, there is power in a union 👊.

Can’t pretend I wasn’t a little intimidated by the size of the 15k capacity ⁦OVO Hydro⁩, but the crowd were brilliant- cheering the raucous numbers and listening intently to the quiet songs. In 40 years of gigging in the city, Glasgow audiences have never let me down ❤️👏

Billy Bragg

The highlight of last night was Billy Bragg curtailing the end of Greetings to the New Brunette to celebrate Lioness’s victory in the Euros with the crowd, before treating us to a full blooded sing along of Jerusalem (our true national anthem).

A great little Euro trip with Caroline Spence ! Three lovely shows in Scandinavia and a great show Black Deer Festival . Thanks to everyone who came to the shows! So nice to travel outside the UK again.

Great to see C.J. Hillman featured on the cover of the current MU magazine. Looking forward to hooking up with him again for the summer festivals

A big thanks to the Musicians' Union for writing this article on me and sticking my face on the front cover of their magazine. I had a great chat with Neil Crossley about the last 10 years of touring, playing the Pedal Steel Guitar and meeting Johnny Marr in Kingbee Records

Recorded and filmed another little location recording with my OP-1 then overdubbed a few Guitars at home. This became a demo for a longer version with Mark Lewis & Craig Hanson... more on that one later 😀
