GOOD ONE is the hilarious story of a trio (father, daughter, & family friend) hiking through the woods. This simple set-up leads to hysterical observations & quietly powerful revelations, with the excellent & honest screenplay interpreted by three superb actors. Accurate title!

This neo-slasher really got to me. Violent, nasty, and impressively made. The viral tweets about it are accurate.

The Apes reboots were never my thing and KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES did nothing to change that. The tone remains so absurdly self-serious, I can never lock into it. Doesn’t help that the plot is a mishmash of watered-down ideas and moments from the superior original series
