We shared concerns surrounding the humanitarian crisis, 🇨🇦`s condemnation of settler violence in West Bank, & our support for a two-state solution.

Le Canada condamne la violence des colons extrémistes envers les Palestiniens et leurs possessions en Cisjordanie, y compris la mort de deux Palestiniens. Nous condamnons également la mort d'un jeune Israélien.

Nous déplorons leurs décès et présentons nos condoléances à leurs proches. Nous réitérons notre appel aux autorités israéliennes afin qu’elles protègent tous les civils, et qu’elles demandent des comptes aux auteurs d'actes de violence.

Canada condemns the extremist settler violence against Palestinians and their property in the West Bank, including the death of two Palestinians. We also condemn the death of an Israeli youth.

We mourn their deaths and extend our condolences to their loved ones. We reiterate our call to the Israeli authorities to protect all civilians and hold perpetrators of violence to account.

1/3 EU🇪🇺and likeminded Heads of Mission joined a Ramadan iftar and stood in solidarity with families of Sateh al Babar Bedouin community in Area C, fighting to secure their livelihoods amid threats of settler violence, demolition and displacement.

2/3 Israels' settlement policy, including evictions and demolitions, is a grave breach of international humanitarian law. It fuels tensions and undermines prospects for a two-state solution.
