I love when companies consolidate onto HubSpot and save money.

But it's not the cost savings that gets me the most excited. It's the increase in *simplicity*.

Simplicity is the gift that keeps on giving.…

This is scary good.

In an infinite market your only enemy is dissatisfied customers.

The more inflated the language in your startup's pitch, the less convincing it seems. If you're a seed stage company, don't tell me you're transforming global this or poised to dominate that. Tell me you noticed something that might turn out to be an overlooked opportunity.

Things money can't buy:
1) happiness
2) love
3) product market fit

If you find yourself in a position where you feel like there aren’t enough resources to work faster, just ruthlessly cut the least important projects. It sucks but moving slowly on the most valuable thing is death.

HubSpot's a pretty big company (~8,000 people) but we've managed to avoid this death spiral.

Things that have helped:
1) Small teams with high autonomy

2) Hold regular 'science fairs' where teams show off what they *shipped*
