Congrats to Megan He from Yale Environ. Eng. and the rest of the Gentner Lab group on their paper in Science out today (science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…).
Shout out to Yale Environ. Eng. PhD grad Roger Sheu whose paper was featured on the front cover of Environmental Science Journals of the RSC Atmospheres (pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art…) and thanks to the Thirdhand Smoke Research Consortium Thirdhand Smoke Resource Center for the invitation to present the work today.
Thanks so much to everyone for a fantastic summer field campaign season across three sites as part of ASCENT Network and the prelude to AEROMMA 2023. It's been tons of fun to see all the awesome data coming in. See you all next summer!
Check out the new sensor calibration paper from Prof. Misti Levy Zamora, PhD in ACS ES&T Engineering (pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…). Congrats Misti!
Congratulations to our Yale Environ. Eng. first year graduate students — Susanna Maisto, Kevin Pataroque, and Mia Tran — on winning the U.S. National Science Foundation #GRFP this year.
You are keeping up with the long tradition of our program.

Very excited to have Dr. Taekyu Joo joining the group and Yale Environ. Eng. this week after completing their PhD at Georgia Tech. Welcome Taekyu!
Congratulations to Yale Environ. Eng. PhD student Jo Machesky on her CEE Excellence in Service Award, and a big thank you for all her efforts in the department and CEE community!
A big thanks to Neil Donahue (CMU) and Jesse Kroll (MIT) for their excellent talks over the past few weeks at the Chemical & Environmental Engineering (Yale Environ. Eng.) seminar series. Very cool work!
Congrats to coauthors & Yale Environ. Eng. PhD student Colby Buehler for his indoor air quality analysis under future building efficiency scenarios in Science Advances (advances.sciencemag.org/content/7/34/e…). Thrilled to collaborate with Economics Prof. Gillingham at YSE on this SEARCH Center paper!
Congrats to Dr. Roger Sheu (@YaleEnvEng) on his detailed indoor air paper in ES&T(pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…) showing the effects of indoor VCP reservoirs and their indoor-to-outdoor fluxes during ACRONIM-2 with our friends at WashU & UNC. No one's home, but the emissions continue!
