Again - how dare a government that has cut funding for 16-19 education by 15%, cut youth services by 70%, whacked up student loan repayments, overseen record rises in rents, and cut unemployment/housing benefits say this stuff?

Looks like I’m going to need to tap my sign again that says how national service was often seen as as something that corrupted, rather than fortified, young people during the time it was in operation

Young people across the country did their national service by staying in the house for the best part of 18 months and giving up their youth to help everyone stay safe, you moronic ghouls.

Maybe, instead of National Service for 18 year olds they should introduce national service for MPs.

They all have to do several weeks volunteering in a school, GP, hospital, care home, social care and police within their first 12 months in office.
