10 years ago, the #EU lifted visas for #Moldova citizens. It was a huge boost for EU support.
The path to Europe lies ahead, filled with small victories. It's possible. We're expected there. Hard work is the only way. No shortcuts. We will succeed. 🇲🇩🇪🇺

Today in Gov: 1. Launching #EVOSign , app for advanced e-signatures, accessible to all, including our diaspora.
2. Starting ratification for the Digital Europe Programme— aiming for top-tier digital capabilities.
3. Introducing #MDocs for efficient digital document management.

Symbolic milestone: #Moldova exports more to the USA than to Russia. Exports to Russia declined from 65% to around 3% of total in last 15 years&EU is our main trading partner (65%).
BUT.
While in feb 2024 vs 2023 exports to Russia declined by 35%, exports to USA nearly doubled.

At yesterday's AI & Big Data Conference with Dorin Recean, discussed how AI can revolutionize our economy—boosting productivity and spawning innovative services. We're laying the groundwork with a White Paper to ensure AI's ethical use aligns with human rights.

At the 'Empower Locals' event with President Maia Sandu , met 100+ entrepreneurs aiming to energize our economy. We're backing them with new funding tools & cutting red tape.

Had a productive meeting with Adrienn Kiraly from European Commission's DG NEAR. We're focused on boosting 🇲🇩's economy by engaging the private sector more actively and advancing our EU integration agenda. Efforts on reducing bureaucracy and digitalizing services are on track.
