Feeling lucky to have got to the last night of #TheLonelyLondoners Jermyn Street Theatre. As good as you all told me it was.
Obviously, it’s Roy Williams at his best, but it’s also proved for me that Ebenezer is a major director to watch. Beautifully conducted, bringing light & shade
'Lonely Londoners' Jermyn Street Theatre is everything we want from theatre. Heart, head and empathy. It must have a future life. All the game from Roy Williams and Ebenezer and ferociously strong cast.

It was a revelation to see Sam Selvon’s seminal Windrush novel 'The Lonely Londoners’ brought to life Jermyn Street Theatre by Roy Williams & an outstanding cast directed by Ebenezer. The friendship, hardship & discrimination of new arrivals in London is heart breaking & heart warming

Sometimes you can stumble across a gem. This week I saw Lonely Londoners play Jermyn Street Theatre. Not stopped thinking about it. Unlike the West End it’s more affordable.

Immensely proud of this show and everyone who has made it happen. It has been years in the making and thrilled that audiences and critics have loved it so much. One of my favourite novels and so delighted to have produced Roy Williams adaption of it for Jermyn Street Theatre.
Yet again, a very entertaining evening Jermyn Street Theatre for The Lonely Londoners Roy Williams magnificent production. The creativity for such a compact stage was stunning. Sam Sevlon would be extremely proud.
Outstanding work Jermyn Street Theatre tonight. Roy Williams superb adaptation of Sam Selvon’s essential London novel, The Lonely Londoners. Firecracker cast; heart rending movement; stunning production design. The London fringe at its very very best.
