Columbia University Hamilton Hall is occupied—same building for the Office of the Dean of Columbia College. Seems like he won’t be making it into his office in the morning.

Columbia’s leadership admits the mob is breaking the rules. They admit it is creating a hostile environment for Jewish students & others in violation of Title VI (!!!). They admit they cannot meet the demands of the mob.

Yet they spell out no consequences. You see the problem?

I asked Columbia comms officials if an NYPD response is an option for today given passage of 2 p.m. deadline. Was told “nothing further to add” beyond Shafik statement from Friday (screenshot below) saying cops on campus “at this time would be counterproductive”
