We have seen reports on social media of a Covid outbreak at Lister Hospital.

We'd like to confirm that this is not the case but remind visitors and patients not to come to hospital if they have been suffering from cold or flu-like symptoms in the last 72 hours.

Ahead of this special day, we are thanking our wonderful midwives with a celebratory staff webinar, happy hour at our on-site coffee shop, recognition of long service retiree Jane Ford and, of course, lots of cake! 💙

Thousands of sickle cell patients have been given a new treatment lifeline by the NHS from today, following the approval of a new drug for the disease.
