It's true, we are definitely naturalists! What makes science so powerful is its ability to account for nature without resorting to a power or agent beyond itself. But... to account for the primacy of experience we'd argue a different understanding of Nature will be required.

Actually, our response to the kind of view Tom Clark presents (in his linked paper) is on pp. 199-204 of The Blind Spot. In short, consciousness is not a controlled hallucination of the brain and neither is reality, because among other things that view is self-undermining.
